A Milestone for LESS: Our First In-Person Advisory Board Meeting in Brussels

Brussels, 26 May 2026 - Last week, we reached an important milestone for LESS by hosting our first in-person Advisory Board meeting in Brussels. It was a day of insightful discussions, collaboration, and shared commitment to advancing low-emission steel.

The meeting focused on the planned extension of the LESS Rulebook for stainless steel, alongside key topics such as the revision process for the LESS Rulebook, recertification, and the publication of consolidated data on LESS-classified products. The discussions were highly productive, with the Advisory Board providing numerous valuable suggestions that we will incorporate into our ongoing work.

The diverse perspectives brought to the table were a true asset, and the open, constructive atmosphere made for a rich and engaging exchange. We wrapped up the day with a joint dinner at a typical Belgian restaurant, enjoying the perfect weather outdoors – a fitting end to a successful event.
